The Goo

As the capstone of the 2025 Early Career Artist Fellowship, NRT presented the world premiere of THE GOO in September 2025. The play was written by K. Rose Dallimore, the fellowship's inaugural recipient, during a year-long development process in collaboration with Artistic Director Eliza Palter. This premiere at the Chain Theatre followed a developmental workshop at Arts on Site in New York City in May 2025.
This dark comedy—inspired by The Importance of Being Earnest—peers into the strange rituals of friendship and the stories we invent to keep it all from falling apart.
